Most needed
Choose the shape of the trip first
Decide whether you want a simple return transfer to the caves, or a half-day coastal outing with Cap Spartel and the Achakkar area. The official distance is a location description, not a verified driving distance or journey time. Traffic, season and stops change the total.
Options to check
A pre-arranged taxi or private driver is the most straightforward option for visitors who want a fixed return. Tangier City Tour publishes a sightseeing route serving the Cap Spartel area and the caves; confirm seasonal operation, stops and timetable with the operator for your date. Self-drive visitors can navigate to the Google Maps point or Plus Code Q356+X8C, but parking conditions are not verified here.
- Agree the price, waiting time and return pickup before departure
- Confirm whether the fare is one-way or return
- Keep the cave visit inside the published 09:00–17:00 window
- Verify any bus timetable directly with the operator
Plan the return before you leave
The return leg is often harder than the outward trip. A one-way drop-off is not a guarantee that a ride will be waiting. Arrange the pickup point and time with your driver, or check the last available service of any scheduled option before you enter the caves.
