Visiting Hercules Caves with children
Families usually want three answers before setting out: what the children pay, whether the route is manageable, and where to take a break. Here is what we can confirm and what needs a local check.
Most needed
Tickets for children
The official platform lists a child category for ages 7–13: 10 DH for Moroccan or resident children and 40 DH for foreign children. Adults are 30 DH and 80 DH respectively. The published categories do not clearly state a rule for children under seven, so we do not claim free entry for them; check the platform.
Surfaces and supervision
The official description mentions dark, humid limestone caverns. Choose shoes with grip, keep children close near the ocean-facing opening and bring water. We have not verified handrails, step counts, lighting or stroller access, so do not assume a pram-friendly route; ask the operator about the access your family needs.
Transport and breaks
Arrange a return trip in advance so you are not negotiating a ride with tired children. We do not verify nearby play areas, baby-changing facilities, restaurants or seasonal stalls. If you plan a Cap Spartel stop, treat it as a separate part of the day and confirm its own conditions.
