Visiting Hercules Caves on a budget
The admission price is published; most other costs are not. This page helps you keep the two apart and avoid comparing a tour package with an entry ticket.
Most needed
Start with the published tariff
The official platform lists 30 DH for a Moroccan or resident adult, 10 DH for a Moroccan or resident child aged 7–13, 80 DH for a foreign adult and 40 DH for a foreign child aged 7–13 (checked 4 November 2026). Conditional free-entry provisions exist; confirm eligibility on the platform. No rule is inferred for under-sevens, students or seniors.
The variable part is transport
Getting from Tangier to the Cap Spartel coast and back is usually the larger and less predictable cost. We do not publish taxi fares, bus fares or timetables because we have not verified them. Ask your accommodation for a current reference price, agree a total that includes waiting and return, and compare scheduled options only against the operator’s own timetable.
Avoid false comparisons
A commercial excursion may include transport, guiding, meals or other stops; its headline price is not the admission tariff. Water, food and any additional attraction are separate purchases. Use the official platform for the ticket and keep the rest of the budget flexible.
Before you go
What is the cheapest confirmed cost?
The lowest published admission category is 10 DH for a Moroccan or resident child aged 7–13. For foreign adults the listed admission is 80 DH, checked 4 November 2026.
Is a tour cheaper than going independently?
We do not verify tour prices, so we cannot compare. Check what a package includes and keep it separate from the official admission tariff.
Are there extra fees on site?
We have not verified parking charges, guiding fees or other on-site costs. Ask the operator before paying for anything beyond admission.
